Northwest Auto Repair

I was referred to Honest-1 Auto Care by a friend of a friend. I traveled to Portland from San Jose, CA in search of a food truck to purchase. Before leaving for our long road trip, we wanted to make sure that the truck would make it back and we wouldn't be stranded in the middle of nowhere.At first we called around other shops and they were quoting us $120 (which seem a little expensive but we didn't mind) for a bumper to bumper inspection, but said they couldn't guarantee that it would be done by the end of the day (even if we brought it first thing in the morning!).Frantic that we would be stuck in Portland for another day or two, my friend started making calls around to friends he had in the area. He referred us here and I'm really glad he did!The woman that helped us ensured that it wouldn't take more than an hour or two to do the inspection. The tech did a thorough job inspecting the truck (even checking horn and brake lights!) and test drove the truck for driveability issues. After he was all done, the tech went through the checklist with us and went over a few concerns he found. He said we should address these issues when we were back in California, but our truck will be ok making it back. The best part was the inspection was only $65, half of what the other shop wanted to charge us. They were even nice enough to say that we can leave the truck at their shop as long as we needed because we still needed to check out of our hotel and return our rental car.We made it back to California with no issues. It was great having peace of mind driving back. Can't thank Honest-1 enough!

"friendly staff, very nice customer waiting area, good location, etc." I enjoyed the visit to Honest -1. They seem very experienced in automotive needs and maintenance. Both Mike & Ben were very up front on items that need to be repaired in the very near future.

"Great Service" This is the best shop I have ever had work performed on my truck. Other places, you leave after getting work performed and 10 minutes later, you're on the road and something else goes wrong. Not the case with Honest 1, they not just tell me something else is in need of repair but they show it to me as well so I can see for myself what needs to be repaired and why. "Efficient good quality service" I got a set of tires and had them installed; nice to know I didn't need an alignment too. Well worth the check.

"They keep the customer informed" I recently had my car's ruptured fuel line repaired at Honest 1 Auto Care in Gresham. Susan and Norman took very good care of me and my car. Can't thank them enough.

Rocky said he has been to this business before and they have always done a good job, so he keeps going back.
