I ONLY go to Honest A-1 on Stark! They have been my mechanic since I moved to Oregon 4 years ago. Pete and the rest of the guys go out of their way to do the best work on my car, give Excellent Customer Service, suggestions, and deals. Pete personally not only deals with me as a customer, but also as a friend. I have been to Honest A-1 for anything from major engine trouble, to oil changes, to new tires. They are QUICK, friendly, and they are HONEST. Plus they do have free sodas and free internet while you wait. Honest A-1 has built trust with me and I never have felt taken advantage of. I was super apprehensive to try the shop on SE Stark because of a pretty terrible experience at the location on 82nd. Even so, I decided to give this place a go since it came with a friend's very high recommendation. Pete could not have been nicer, quicker and the price was quite affordable. Unfortunately I have been to several mechanics since moving here but now I finally feel like I know one that I can trust!

The work is always done in a timely fashion, they always give me a very good priced estimate with options of different parts. Technicans always have been upfront and showed me the repairs that were needed. Keep up the good work Guys!

Took my car in for a tire rotation and oil change, and was told my oil case gasket thingey is leaking. Normally I would say, "LIAR!" and run, but I knew it was true because there was a puddle of oil under my car all the time and I've already had the head gasket replaced. They fixed it same day, quickly, with no fuss, and since then, no more oil leaks! Yay! This does seem like an honest place.
