About one year ago, I moved to the Clackamas area and was in search for a car mechanic for my 180+ thousand mile car that I hold dear. After checking a few places and getting referrals from locals, I chose Honest-1 Auto Care in Clackamas. I have been very pleased with their service, their recommended future service needs for my car, their customer service, their promptness and just about everything they represent.I have a short list of items I need to have serviced on my car and with their help in setting the priorities, WE will get them completed in 2016!Thank you Honest-! They are very nice and do a great job. I trust their advice and the prices are very reasonable...there is always a coupon to use! The waiting room and restrooms are clean and there is always cold soda in the fridge! Great customer service.

"Exhaust noise increase" Took my wife's 2000 Toyota Tundra to see if Honest-1 could tell me why it sounded louder. They put the truck on the rack and checked it over. About 10 minutes later they showed me some photos that the exhaust pipes were rusted and a bracket had come off the pipe. When it did, it opened up a large hole. The photos were a great help. There was no charge and they recommended I take it to the muffler shop a block away for repair. This has been a great company to deal with.

"Affordable, experienced, TRUSTWORTHY" Pete is my 4th mechanic in Portland. The first 3 seemed under-skilled and/or untrustworthy. I don't come in often, but when I need something Pete usually answers my email in (I'm not kidding) under 5 minutes. Once we set an appointment, my car is always fixed well, on time, and for a reasonable price. It's nice to know I won't need 5th mechanic in town. I will literally never go to anyone else. As for the waiting room...you can tell they're trying. Coffee, computers, chairs, TV, etc. Unfortunately all the furniture feels old, most of the chairs are uncomfortable, and the tables are too high. The layout is a little unfortunate, but some new furniture would go a loooooong way. 5 stars for being an awesome, honest auto shop. -1 star for an unfortunate waiting room.
